This piece started with an absurd daydream and ended up being a literal exemplar of mixed languages - the language of literature as a sort of portal to the language of music. In this way it is an interesting expression of the collaboration between a visual artist and a composer: we have explored and exchanged each other’s idioms in order to make the work.
